Yes! We love it when our guests capture fun moments to share with their family and friends. Make sure to use our tag #toursintheharbor! That said, we do not allow video recordings during the tour as the content and experience we provide is proprietary.
Our tours are designed primarily for adults. The tour focuses on the history and historical landmarks of Safety Harbor with three stops for food tastings. There are six seats available on each tour and each person must be in a single seat and wearing a seatbelt.
Yes. There will be bathrooms available at the beginning and mid-way through the tour.
Rarely do we cancel tours, but if we need to cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be notified immediately and we will either reschedule your tour or issue a full refund.
You can book a History & Food tour online at toursintheharbor.ourservicepros.com. You can book a Welcome to the Harbor Tour or Private Group Tour by calling 727-265-1624 or by emailing guides@toursintheharbor.com.
The History & Food tour is approximately two hours. The Welcome to the Harbor Tour is approximately one hour. The Private Group Tour is based on your group’s needs.
You can book up to six passengers on each tour.
The tour stops at three locations where there is minimal walking at each stop.
There isn’t any walking required on the Welcome to the Harbor Tour. We stay in the golf cart for the approximately one hour tour.
The History & Food tour includes admission to the Safety Harbor Museum & Cultural Center, a tour of the historical landmarks while riding on an eight passenger golf cart, food tastings from four local businesses, a bottle of water, and lots of fun!
The Welcome to the Harbor Tour includes a tour of the restaurants, shops, local amenities, historical landmarks, and other hidden gems in downtown Safety Harbor while riding on an eight passenger golf cart.
Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance of your tour start time by emailing guides@toursintheharbor.com will result in a complimentary date transfer or the original payment amount will be refunded directly back to your method of payment. If you cancel within 24 hours of your tour start time, your ticket will be forfeited.
The food tastings include pizza, a Cuban pressed sandwich, cheesecake, and a cookie. Food substitutions are not available.
The History & Food Tours meet at the Safety Harbor Museum & Cultural Center 329 S. Bayshore Blvd, Safety Harbor. The meeting location for the Welcome to the Harbor Tours and Private Group tours can be customized.
The tours travel to the historic landmarks, shops, and restaurants that are located off of Main Street and Bayshore Boulevard in Safety Harbor.
